This is the fourth time Burke has been honored in this category, having previously been recognized in 2005, 2008 and 2012.

Asurion Call Center Receives Temporary Certificate of Occupancy
On Wednesday, October 1st, Burke received a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy (TCO) for the 4th floor of our Asurion Call Center Project! This is a significant milestone for Asurion, as this allows them to begin the hiring & training process for 500 new jobs by the end of the year. This approximate 90,000 sq. ft. call center is on target to be completed on November 1st

Desert National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center at Corn Creek Receives LEED Platinum Publically Certified Building Status from the U.S. Green Building Council
Burke Construction Group, Compendium International and SH Architecture are very pleased to announce that our collaborative Desert National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center at Corn Creek project has recently obtained LEED Platinum Publically Certified Building Status from the U.S. Green Building Council. This is only the seventh LEED Platinum project in Nevada and the first one certified since July, 2012.
Burke Construction Group Recently Completes Seven Hills Behavioral Institute Expansion Project
Burke Construction Group recently completed construction of the new Seven Hills Behavioral Institute Expansion project at 3021 Horizon Ridge Parkway in Henderson, Nevada. This four million dollar project is the new addition and expansion to an existing 26,400 sq. ft. steel and block 56 bed psychiatric facility originally completed by Burke Construction Group in 2008.
Burke Construction Group Recently Completes Vadatech's New R&D and Manufacturing Facility in Henderson
This new state of the art facility is the new corporate headquarters for the Vadatech Corporation. The facility consists of over 70,000 sq. ft. of research and development components as well as cutting edge manufacturing equipment. Additional features included a gourmet cappuccino and coffee bar, employee cafeteria, reading lounge and an employee fitness center. Construction for this $11.7 million dollar project began in February, 2013.

Skagit Valley College's New Lewis Hall Takes Shape...Spacious Three-story Building Embraces Green Technology
MOUNT VERNON — Construction is ahead of schedule and on budget on the new Charles Lewis Hall at Skagit Valley College, which looks to bring massive upgrades in space, technology and efficiency over the current 54-year-old Lewis Hall.
Where the current one-story building makes use of covered, outdoor hallways to limit indoor area, the new Lewis Hall will have wide-open lobbies, corridors and skyways with chairs and tables for informal studying and mingling. “Informal study space is one of the things that community colleges really lack because we were so tight on budgets for so long,” said Mary Alice Grobins, vice president of administrative services.
