This project is the new addition and expansion to an existing 26,400 sq. ft. steel and block 56 bed psychiatric facility originally completed by Burke Construction Group in 2008. Construction included the conversion of an existing one story, 15,000 sq. ft. office building adjacent to the original Seven Hills facility to a 1-2 institutional occupancy building. Renovations to the adjacent original structure now accommodate 36 new inpatient psychiatric beds within two distinct nursing units consisting of 18 beds each. Additional improvements included the construction of a new, one story, 2,415 sq. ft. addition between the existing hospital and new addition to accommodate an enclosed pedestrian walkway and a full renovation of the existing dining area to meld with the new addition.
