Burke Construction Group is pleased to announce that our Special Projects Division received two Project Honor Awards – in both the Tenant Improvement (Medium Office Category) for the Sykes Call Center Durango and (Other Category) – for the Apollo RedFlint Project at the 20th annual NAIOP Spotlight Awards on March 4 at Red Rock Resort in Summerlin. The Spotlight Awards is an annual event put on by the association to recognize industry leaders and top commercial real estate projects in several categories.
Burke Construction Group begins construction on a new expanded warehouse facility for the Frito Lay Las Vegas Distribution Center on behalf of Con-Real, LP.
This approximately 30,000 sq. ft. expansion facility is designed to expand Frito Lay’s existing warehouse facility. The expanded space will be constructed directly adjacent to an active warehouse and utilize tilt wall panel construction similar to the existing warehouse building. When complete this new expansion will function as one common warehouse space.
The Desert National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) Visitor Center was again recognized for its sustainable design and construction. The center recently received a 2015 Environmental Achievement Award from the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI). The award recognizes DOI employees and partners who attain exceptional achievements under the requirements of Executive Order 13693 ‒ “Planning for Federal Sustainability in the Next Decade.”
