Fixtures Living Wins Multiple Retail Design Institute's International Store Awards

  • Innovation Award - Visual Communication / Graphics

Built by Burke Construction Group in 2011, this project is a 24,000 sq. ft. Five Star high end kitchen, bath and outdoor living retail & demonstration showroom for Fixtures Living, a forward-thinking leader in the home living industry. This Orange County showroom became Fixtures Living's largest showroom and demonstration kitchen to date featuring an extensive, hand-culled array of best-in-class kitchen, bath and outdoor products from some of the most sought-after brands available, including Gessi, Kallista, Molteni, Sub-Zero, BlueStar, Wolf, Dacor, Thermador, La Cornue, Gaggenau, Lynx, and many more. This innovative project was built using proven LEED® strategies as well as cutting edge construction techniques with a target of LEED Silver certification in 2012. Designed by FITCH, Fixtures Living also won the 2012 Chain Store Age Annual Design Competition in the hardlines category.

Christian Davies, FITCH Executive Creative Director of the Americas said of this honor, "I've always thought of the RDI Store of the Year Awards as the biggest of the retail industry awards. Fixtures Living was in a traditionally tough category as there were over 200 stores entered this year. Winning two awards for the same project is something to be very proud of."
