![]() Kevin BurkePresident & CEO | Kevin Burke is president and CEO of Burke Construction Group, Inc., serving Southern Nevada for over 27 years as one of the area’s preeminent general contractors and currently holds licenses in 22 states. Some of Burke Construction Group’s clients include Teton Builders, Cashman Equipment Company, Marnell Properties, Avi Resort & Casino, Clark County School District, Peccole Nevada, MGM/Mirage and Harrah’s Entertainment. Mr. Burke, who has 25 years of experience in the construction industry, began his career with Procter & Gamble as a construction manager. Mr. Burke joined Burke in 1989 and held various leadership positions within the company prior to his appointment as President/CEO in 2001. Mr. Burke is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Associated General Contractors (AGC) and serves on the executive committee of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees as well as on their investment council committee. In 2009, Mr. Burke was appointed Chairman of the Nevada State Contractors Board by the Governor. Additionally, he is a member of various professional organizations, including NAIOP, Legatus, the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), and the Nevada Development Authority. Mr. Burke earned his Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in business management from Kansas State University.

Anthony DazzioSenior Vice President | With over 26 years of experience, Anthony Dazzio is senior vice president of Business Development and Governmental Affairs. A former lobbyist, Mr. Dazzio was previously executive manager of Business Planning and Growth at NV Energy. Active in the community, Mr. Dazzio served two terms on the Senior Citizens Advisory Board for the City of Las Vegas and two terms on the Use of Force Board for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. In 2010, the Governor appointed Mr. Dazzio as Commissioner to the Nevada Commission on Economic Development. In 2011, Mr. Dazzio was recognized as a 20/20 Visionary by Nevada Business magazine. Mr. Dazzio is a past president and past chairman of Governmental Affairs for the Southern Nevada chapter of NAIOP and continues to serve on the Governmental Affairs Committee. Mr. Dazzio was most recently honored in 2011 with NAIOP's Philanthropic Impact Award. He was previously recognized in 2008 with NAIOP's Special Recognition Award and in 2004 as their Associate Member of the Year. Mr. Dazzio currently serves on the board of trustees for the Henderson Development Association and is a member of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, the Nevada Development Authority and the North Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce. Having attended UNLV, where he studied marketing, Mr. Dazzio later completed the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. | |
![]() Matthew BoydVice President Pacific Northwest Division Manager | Matthew Boyd is Vice President and Division Manager of the Pacific Northwest Division for Burke Construction Group. Matt has spent over three decades building and managing nationally recognized projects throughout the country. Mr. Boyd is a member of Greater Spokane International, the Inland Northwest Chapter of The Associated General Contractors (AGC), and NAIOP. Mr. Boyd has supported many charitable activities over the years, including Habitat for Humanity and several youth leadership programs. Mr. Boyd is a graduate of the Geneva Christian College, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with Cum Laude Honors. He later completed the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. | |
![]() Dimitri MihaloliakosVice President Estimating | A 18 year construction executive, Dimitri Mihaloliakos is Vice President - Estimating for Burke Construction Group. A long time estimating professional, Dimitri built a strong reputation in the construction industry before joining Burke Construction Group. Active in the commercial development community, Mr. Mihaloliakos is a member of the Associated General Contractors (AGC), NAIOP and the leadership organization, Vistage. As Vice President, Mr. Mihaloliakos is an integral member of the Burke Acquisition Team. In 2010, he was honored as one of In Business Magazine's 40 under 40 honorees. Mr. Mihaloliakos dedicates his spare time and knowledge, as a visiting professor in the construction science program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Mr. Mihcaloiakos was educated at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and received a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, with a minor in Architectural Design. | |
![]() Robert GittingsController/CFO | Bob Gittings is an authority in the accounting world with over 30 years of financial experience. His current role as controller / CFO confers responsibility for all financial operations at Burke Construction Group, which includes serving on the executive committee. Mr. Gittings relocated to Las Vegas in 2003 to be chief financial officer for the Las Vegas division of SelectBuild Construction. Prior to SelectBuild, he spent 16 years with S.A.S. Rubber Company, (a subsidiary of Yokohoma Rubber Company) progressively advancing in the areas of finance and accounting, culminating in the position of treasurer/ controller. Earning his CPA in 1987, Mr. Gittings attended Cleveland State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in Economics. | |
![]() Carol Cleveland-ThompsonDirector of Corporate Services | A 29-year payroll, personnel specialist, and office management professional, Carol Cleveland-Thompson is the director of corporate services for Burke Construction Group. Ms. Cleveland-Thompson is responsible for all aspects of the company’s administrative and human resources duties. Ms. Cleveland-Thompson also is a member of the company’s executive committee where she shares her extensive knowledge and experience. Ms. Cleveland-Thompson graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Education and Human Resources. Additionally, Ms. Cleveland-Thompson earned an AAS degree in Human Services from the Mohawk Valley Community College, Utica, New York. | |
John TravassosDirector of OperationsWest/Southwest Region | As Director of Operations for the West / Southwest Region, John Travassos brings over 30 years of construction experience to Burke Construction Group. During Mr. Travassos' tenure at Burke, he has supervised some of Southern Nevada’s largest and most notable construction projects. A LEED Accredited Professional, Mr. Travassos is also a member of the Associated General Contractors (AGC), where he serves as Chairman of the Permits and Inspections committee. Mr. Travassos' knowledge of the construction industry, the respect he has earned from his peers and his strong business judgment are tremendous assets to our Executive Committee. |
